Gloucester Rugby is one of the oldest rugby clubs. Its history counts 147 years; The home ground is Kingsholm Stadium, where the Lelos played their two pool matches at RWC 2015. Gloucester became the Premiership runner-up five times and won the Challenge Cup twice.

“I am very proud I am going to play for such a traditional club. I know its past very well and I am happy to have this opportunity to join Gloucester Rugby. At the same time, I feel the big responsibility. It is time for new challenges in my life.“ Says Giorgi, who already got in touch with his new coaches – “They told me they need a kind of player I was at Autumn Nations Cup!“.

At the recent tournament, Kveseladze was highly reliable, he showed his best performance against Ireland, where he scored a magnificent try, which later was voted as try of the round and the tournament, and made 17 tackles:

“Though we lost all the matches, Autumn Nations Cup was productive. Our national team gained valuable experience. We really need to play against such teams as often as possible in order to grow bigger and become stronger. But most importantly for me, these games helped me see I have to work more. “
