COVID 19 | Test Against Scotland Cancelled

Unfortunately, the test-match against Scotland, scheduled at Dinamo Arena, in Tbilisi on July 17, will not take place.

The reason is COVID 19, which has also caused cancellation of July 9 Georgia’s second match against South Africa.

PCR testing did not reveal any new cases in the Lelos’ team bubble; the already infected team members are in a stable condition, though COVID 19 obligates the team to follow a specific protocol: the COVID-free members of Georgian national team, who already returned home, will have to stay in isolation for 8 days, during which period they will not be able to train either. As a result, the home international against Scotland will not take place this summer.
