Seven changes for the round two match against Nederlands

The Lelos coaching staff named the squad for the second game of the 2022 Rugby Europe Championship.

After last week’s draw with Portugal, there are seven changes in the starting 15.

Front row has been completely changed – Mikheil Nariashvili, Shalva Mamukashvili and Luka Japaridze start up front, while Guram Gogichashvili moved to bench. As for injured Beka Gigashvili, Nika Khatiashvili will be available as substitute prop and Giorgi Chkoidze – as substitute hooker.

Nodar Cheishvili will pair with Lasha Jaiani in the second row, with Giorgi Javakhia as backup.

Back row features Giorgi Tsutskiridze, Otar Giorgadze and Tornike Jalagonia in the starting team, while Sandro Mamamtavrishvili moves to the bench.

Vasil Lobzhanidze returns to number 9, to be paired with Tedo Abzhandadze at 10. Davit Meskhi starts at wing, who won his first international cap against Portugal last week. Merab Sharikadze, Deme Tapladze, Aka Tabutsadze and Lasha Khmaladze are still among the beginners. Gela Aprasidze, Giorgi Babunashvili and 18-year-old Tornike Kakhoidze (uncapped) are on the bench.
